We are the Courchaines. We have always loved to go on vacation but prefer the comfort and ease of staying in a home.

In the summer of 2001, we found Birchberry Cabin, a dream come true. Birchberry sits on Mc Carry Lake, quiet, cute and and perfect for our family of four, plus dogs.

The next year after we realized that there is a demand for real homes on nice lakes we took a leap of faith; we bought Hilltop.

Hilltop, on Hart Lake, was the caretaker's house for the mansion, Pinecrest, both built around 1917. BUT... Hilltop was listed as a "tear-down". It took over 18 months to bring it to life as you see it now.

The Up North House is owned by another family who want to rent their home. Naturally, if you know us, we have become good friends of the owners and have the luck to offer such a home on Private Finger Lake.

We run a very family oriented business. We will share with you our love of the area. Our caretaker will have your cabin open and ready for you. We want you to feel that our homes are your home for your vacation.
